So this weekend, I’m catching up with #FridayFlash reading and checking in with Twitter, as many of us do. A chance bit of chat came and went with Angela Perry, and has resulted in a writing prompt centered around an odd notion…

And I quote:

angelaperry: Due to holiday overcommitment, my #FridayFlash is -very- late. I have no idea where Friday (or Saturday) went. http://bit.ly/e4aYrn

reginaldgolding: @angelaperry close enough; not Monday yet!

angelaperry: @reginaldgolding Whew! Squeaked that one in by the skin of my teeth. Ew, teeth skin! Time to brush my teeth ;)

reginaldgolding: @angelaperry haha teethskin. That’s a writing prompt if ever there were.

angelaperry: @reginaldgolding LOL, I’m not sure I’d want to read what came from that prompt.

reginaldgolding: @angelaperry yeah definitely vampire or zombie.. Or worse.

angelaperry: @reginaldgolding Uh oh…now I’m thinking. Drat. May have to do teeth skin next round for real :) Care to join me?

reginaldgolding: @angelaperry I’m totally in

angelaperry: @reginaldgolding Awesome. It’s a date ;) Can we do it the first Friday in May? I have a blog contest coming up this week.

reginaldgolding: @angelaperry done! :)

angelaperry: @reginaldgolding Yippee!

So, now I’m in a panic, because I have no earthly idea what I’m going to do with this. But, I’ve got a couple of weeks to ponder, so it should be fun!

Teeth Skin!

  1. Hooray for teeth skin! This is going to be hilarious.

  2. I’m torn, though; do I want to go zany, or do I want to go creepy. I’ve got ideas on both… might have to do both haha

  3. [...] you recall, Angela Perry (web) and I were talking about the “skin of the teeth“, and that became a writing prompt. I’ll post a link to hers once it’s available. [...]
